Very good for the price. However, I recommend waterproofing/sealing this before putting it outside. I learned from a previous purchase of one of these at a local store that they are not waterproof where the heat shrink tubing goes around the wire just above the hummingbird. UPDATE: I decided to look inside since they weren't working. . . what can hurt So glad I did! There are three small screws on the underside of the sun cover. Remove them and the thin lid will come off. Inside was a rechargeable solar NiMH (nickel metal hydride) battery.
