My employer adopted a family for vacation and I bought it for a little boy. The coat arrived today. So happy with the quality and the design. I'm sure it will keep him warm and dry in the northern RI winter.

I bought this coat for my 9 year old son. I was impressed with the quality. Very durable. Thick and comfortable. Ideal for the winter. Warmed up my son.

Bought size 6-7 for my 6 year old grandson. Fits well and is good for next winter. He is skinny. The hood is attached to the coat which is what I was looking for. He played in the snow and didn't get wet. I can't comment on durability as it's only been a week.

The coat has not grown small as stated in other reviews of this company's products. I ordered 14/16 for my 10 year old and it was clearly too big for him. Most likely suitable, as expected, for ages 14-16.

My son has tactile sensitivity issues and the brands of children's coats we usually buy will stop making coats in his size when he gets older. He hates the tags which I can usually cut off but due to his dislike of metal it takes time to find coats without snaps/buttons or metal zippers.
