ZUKKA Handlebar Mountain Anti Slip Handlebars Review

Bought to replace a worn out kit on my son's MTB. As mentioned, a dot of hairspray in each hold worked wonders, allowing them to glide on easily and stay in place. I was still struggling to get the last few millimeters in a grip, but eventually managed to get it to the bar. Maybe more hairspray would have helped. Anyway, the price was right and they look very cool on a blue and black bike.

I used it to turn a used beach cruiser into a more upright motorbike. The material is very comfortable to wear while driving. The shape feels good in the hand and makes for a more relaxed ride. The only problem I had was that initially I placed them on opposite sides of the handlebars. I like the handles, but. They were bought to replace the old handlebars on my son's mountain bike. The grips are great, but we never thought about sizing until we put them on. Both cranks are the same size, however the bike is designed so that the shifter is on the right side of the handlebars and the crank sticks out about 1-1.5 inches from the end. We got these to replace my son's grips because the ends of the handlebars broke through the ends of the old handlebars and started to slowly slide towards the center of the handlebars. I inserted the knuckle (which fits perfectly) into the grip and used a 1/2" extender with a 14mm socket to slowly push the knuckle all the way down to a wide flat in each grip, so the ends of the handlebar would have to go through the ankle before it goes through the end of the capture! 10 cent updates!
