Great for rolling out very thin dough evenly and while I like my marble rolling pin it gets very heavy when rolling things like soap pills and toasting bread. The new lightweight is easy to use.

This product is a great improvement over old fashioned wooden rolling pins and heavy marble rolling pins. The only downside is that the dough is still sticky. You have to put it in the freezer to avoid sticking, and it's no good if you're baking on the fly.

Considering the price, this was exactly what I was looking for, but would it be better than the marble rolling pin it replaces? Hands down, that was a great offer. Easy to hold, chilled in the fridge, just what I need for my cake bases. Do not be shy. It's worth it.

I wasn't sure about the no handle rolling pin but it was just as easy to use. There is no need for a pro/con post because I can't think of anything. My favorite feature is that it gets really cold in the freezer, which is great for puff pastry. The biggest surprise is that even though it's not a non-stick surface like my old rolling pin, the dough doesn't stick to it, meaning easy cleanup.

After years of using a regular wooden rolling pin with handles, I decided to try a non-handled rolling pin. That is amazing. It is easy to use, easy to clean and very lightweight. You have to be aware of the fact that it is not solid because if it were it would be very heavy and probably difficult to handle. Be careful not to drop it or it will get dented. Love this rolling pin. It was so easy to maneuver and use with the silicone mat that it didn't stick at all. I made it as recommended and put it in the freezer before using. I threw away my old one! The best part was the cleaning. I used some warm soapy water and it was clean. I highly recommend this stone.

I love this stainless steel french rolling pin! So light, very manoeuvrable and easy to clean! The best part is the cleaning! It's so easy to clean, and compared to a wooden rolling pin, maintenance is much easier and there's less room for bacteria or germs to grow.
