Wastewater: Pipe Fittings

for screening out bits of rust and other contaminants that enter irrigation valves and cause water loss through contaminants entering the diaphragm seat, water loss exiting the sprinkler. so far it works fine!

Good quality product

I wish they had more filter options. They require a #100 mesh but they only have a #20 sediment filter. Was able to solder the #120 mesh material to the #20 sediment filter that came with the Wye fitting. The additional flush valve for flushing sediment from the mesh seems to work well.

Not quite like the picture, but it's enough

Just got mine, not installed yet. Note that the picture shows an inlet socket and an outlet socket, so it would be very convenient to connect it directly to my backflow preventer. Instead, I got a female/female connector, which means I'll have to make a 3/4 adapter out of two nipples and a piece of pipe, and the fitting will be 2 inches longer than I was hoping to manage in my queue many problems. Also, the screen cylinder doesn't seem to fit well inside the screen filter, there is a gap at the
