    I used this in place of a vacuum break to keep my front yard clean.

    Installed without problems. It successfully passed the examination by the health department. I have used this for a sprinkler system so it can be installed underground in a sprinkler box and so far it has worked great.

    The work was required for compliance by the water company, as announced.

    The tendered works were necessary to comply with water supply regulations to prevent backflow into the public water supply. The removable black plastic cover makes it easy to service the check valves if needed, which other check protectors don't have.

    We failed certification for inverted home appliances

    We installed this and the government inspector (due to fires in Colorado) wasn't able to inspect it until September 5th (return date overdue). Unfortunately, the inspector did not check the backflow and found that the device was defective. I have no way now as there is no one to contact other than to make this review.
