CoinSpot is a cryptocurrency exchange
CoinSpot is a cryptocurrency exchange based in Australia that I signed up for two years ago. In this CoinSpot review, I will detail my experience with them, and also compare it to two other cryptocurrency exchanges that I have used extensively and also reviewed in Australia (Independent Reserve and CoinJar - read them if you are looking for other exchanges as well).
CoinSpot seems to me to be more catered towards newcomers who just want to buy some cryptocurrency for the first time, and if you’re one of those people, you’ll easily get taken advantage of if you’re not careful.
I highly recommend that you do not deposit cash using the BPAY (0.9% deposit fee) or Cash Deposit (2.5% deposit fee) methods - this is a waste of money when you can deposit via POLi or PayID. POLi and PayID are instant and free and there is absolutely no reason to use BPAY or cash deposit. In my personal experience, POLi has always worked great for me and I have used it to deposit money into many services over the years.
