Review of Coinomi wallet
I like this wallet because it is easy to use, it is safe and reliable, it has a mobile and desktop application, which makes it easy to use at any time and in any situation. It has support for a good amount of coins and uses the most common, stable and higher value as bitcoin and Ethereum.
It also supports a good number of Ethereum tokens. Its graphic aspect in the desktop version is very careful and original, I like it. Also the commissions are not usually expensive.
It has been useful for the control of payments with cryptocurrencies in the company, despite being a payment method little used in our company, it is always good to have the necessary tools to be able to process these payments easily and quickly.
I recommend this software for its ease of use, in addition to the mobile application can be configured to request password, this is very good, to send any can access and steal the coins.
Pros
- My favourite thing about Coinomi is its ability to sweep other wallets to collect hard forked coins from it.
- Using Coinomi I have successfully claimed a whole host of coins from my bitcoins I have collected, including bitcoin cash, gold, diamond, platinum, pizza, private, plus, Z, core and more. This sort of coin diversity is seldom seen with other wallets.
- It is open source, a huge plus in the crypto sphere
- Built in shapeshift and investment opportunities means that not only can you accept crypto, you can also transfer and trade it in order to further your return from your business.
- If you get good at day trading, or just get a nack for analysing trends and forcasts, you can turn your money from customers into significantly more just with a few clicks. Personally I don't have the time for this, but if and when I can I will for sure.
Cons
- I don't like the idea of private keys being stored on my mobile. I understand that one has more control over them, but they are not stored in the mobile or PC, and this can become a security flaw in the future. It is ideal for storing cryptocurrencies but can not be acquired as it happens in other wallets
- Coinomi has been in the game since the beginning and is arguably the most trusted in the business, so my concern is probably mere paranoia.

In regards to your private keys being stored on your device, they are always stored in an encrypted form, encrypted by your password. In addition, we have just released a new update with some increased private data storage/encryption options. feel free to contact our support if you require a more lengthy explanation of how your keys are stored :)
