Exodus - Basically good wallet
Exodus has been established for such a long time without the complaints and this factor proves that the wallet is worth trying at least once. The wallet successfully serve the users with basic functions such as storing, sending, and receiving cryptocurrencies; however, they are what all other wallets can do. Exodus needs some unique features to gain more attention from the community.
Pros
- - Exodus let users store a lot of coins and tokens. The total number of supported cryptocurrencies on the wallet is over 100
- - It has implemented a swap exchange service provided by Changelly inside the wallet to help users swap their coins and tokens to the other ones within seconds. This helps them diversify their investment to maximize the profits. It does not require users to register accounts to use the function
- - The basic functions a wallet such as managing, storing, sending and receiving cryptocurrencies is very simple for the users.
- - The user interface is slick with logical layout for buttons. It is not difficult to navigate where the functions can be found. Users can customize the skins and the fiat currencies for display of their wallet
- - There are more than only one way to access the addresses on the wallet. Users can download desktop app, mobile app, hardware wallet, seed phrases, and private key
- - Exodus offers Portfolio function so users can monitor their lists of investment
- - They provide tremendous support to their users. They have many videos and blogs that answer the frequently asked questions; moreover, they can be reached via email, chat box, Slack, Twitter, and Facebook (available 24/7)
Cons
- - They should support more blockchains on the wallet so the users with diversified portfolio will be able to use this product
- - There is no way to switch to any other languages. The only available language is English while there should be at least two languages (English and Simplified Chinese)
- - More features can be added to the platforms to make it more convenient for users. Some wallets has added interesting functions like DApps Browser and become an ecosystem
- - Up until know, I haven't found the most outstanding points that can attract users from wallets such as Trust wallet or Bread wallet to move their assets to Exodus. These competitors have some obvious advantages
