To my knowledge, there are two popular wallets for ethereum and ERC20 tokens, which is basically a choice between one of these two wallets, MyEtherWallet and MetaMask (of course, there are other wallets that are similar to these two)
My choice between metamask and myetherwallet is myetherwallet. For this online wallet, you do not need to download an addon or special software, and at the same time, this wallet is very secure. The most attractive feature of this wallet is several input methods that users can choose from.
Another good feature of myetherwallet is that it works with other wallet systems (like metamask)
One of the disadvantages of this wallet is that when we have some tokens that are not well known in the wallet, to view it in the wallet management section, we have to add that token, which must be added to the contract specifications. Enter the address and more, and this is time consuming.
Pros
- It can be used without the need to install software or addon
- Very high security
- Ability to log in to the wallet with the Keystore file and set a secure password to open this file
Cons
- We need to add low-profile tokens manually in the wallet management section

MyEther wallet is one of the wallet that has not been hacked and has good reputation in the crypto world. Though the newbies may find it challenging to use some feature on it like adding digital currency manually. in my opinion the team behind the wallet should work on it.
