My Review about Uphold wallet.
Today i want to tell you something about the Uphold wallet.
I really don't know if Uphold is a wallet or more like a simplified exchange.
The reason why i claim this is the fact that you have many possibilities on Uphold which other wallets do not offer:
You can deposit and withdraw fiat money via U.S. bank account, SEPA (Europe) transaction or credit card. You can even store your fiat funds on the uphold wallet, you don't need to convert it into crypto.
You can also convert your crypto or fiat into (virtual) precious metal and hold it on uphold.
If you hold Crypto on Uphold, you can easily convert your crypto into other crypto currencies, there is no need to transfer it to a "real" exchange.
It's a good wallet/exchange which has all features a beginner need to have. The interface is also easy to use.
But:
I don't like the card system on Uphold. If you want to store funds on Uphold (no matter if fiat, crypto or metals), you need to create a card for it. This is a bit confusing and if you connect your brave browser with uphold to withdraw your BAT brave rewards, you will see that it automatically creates multiple cards called "Brave reward". There is a BAT card, so there should be no need for these cards, thats very confusing.
I also don't like the Authy App. Authy App is a 2FA app like Google Authentifacator. Uphold is the only exchange or wallet i use where i need to download Authy. So i have another app, just for this wallet. That's a bit annoying.
I think these are small disadvantages and alltogether Uphold is a great wallet.
It's worth a try, especially if you use the brave reward system of the Brave Browser.
Pros
- You can send funds to other uphold members by using their e-mail adress.
- Connactable with brave rewards system, you can cash out BAT from your creator account to uphold.
- Fiat gateway.
- Easy and nice interface.
- You can store much coins, fiat and precious metals (digital investment) in uphold.
Cons
- I don't like the card system on uphold, especially the huge amount of brave reward cards is confusing.
- I don't like the Authy app, you need it for 2FA on Uphold.

I don't think the Authy app is still active on the uphold wallet, since i have been using it, I had seen no mention of it, the easy purchase of stocks, Crypto and virtual metal makes it stand out compared to other wallets, also they been able to connect the wallet to other platforms for auditing of your assets or for staking like Credearn is really commendable
