Uphold is likely to be an integration of both wallet and exchange system it is compatible for both use, if you're the type that love seeing your asset and activities in one place with uphold it is much convenient, it support multiple crypto coins major crypto coins and fiat currency it also support buying both digital and local currency using card, exchanging your digital currency to fiat is easy and directly from the wallet. If you're using the wallet you will see on the wallet that there are additional currency that are been added on the network with uphold user can still expect more exciting features.
Making transaction on uphold various base one what currency you're making transaction with basically making exchange using digital coins are a bit high compared to normal fiat currency from my observation transaction fee are kinda high compared to other competing wallet.
Using the wallet on web browser are more convenient despite it support phone device there are some challenges when using the mobile app to access uphold.
Security is highly secure and advance with email and 2FA authentication.
