Review on Wasabi Wallet by Olugbenga Ajayi

Good wallet for best standard if privacy

One good feature of a cryptocurrency project is transparency. But privacy and annonymity are equally key to a good cryptocurrency project. Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency is such a transparent project but it doesn't offer the best form of privacy. This is because every transaction in bitcoin is traceable to an address, even the private fact like transaction amount and balance will be revealed easily.

To checkmate such problem, Wasabi wallet, one of the available bitcoin wallets out there offers the best standard in terms of privacy and annonymity. It achieved this through the coinjoin mechanism which allows multiple people to combine their Bitcoin transaction into a large sum and push it at once hence it is not traceable to a single individual. Wasabi wallet is laudable in this regard.

Beside this, Wasabi wallet is a non custodial wallet hence all private keys are in the custody of the owner. That also grant a measure of privacy and security.

When we consider possibly of further security, we realized that wasabi wallet can be integrated to hardware wallet like edger Nano S Trezor and many others.

Wasabi is also the first to implement Bip 158 block filter. Further more, the recent release introduced multiwallet support which means that multiple Wallets can be loaded within a single instance.

I won't forget to mention that users must upgrade to the newest version to enjoy the coinjoin feature.

Wqsabi wallet is highly recommended for privacy and annonymity.
