So, as usual, I immediately read another customer's review that was left on this product before I buy anything. The customer said that they replaced the center tube with the bottom of the pump to make it stronger (but you really shouldn't do this as it can damage the pump). The customer also said that the pump needs to be pumped constantly to pump out all the oil. So said the hell with it and ordered it anyway. The pump was AMAZING. The pump filled itself and was VERY EASY to use. All I did was pull out the dipstick, run the smallest tube (it had 3 different sized tubes) down the tube until it touched the bottom of the oil pan and then I was bleeding. Yes it was a little hard on my hands and it took me about an hour to drain 5.5 liters of oil but it was still very easy. The mechanics behind it and the soft hose were very helpful in handling. When you pull the pump to raise the oil, the soft rubber hose almost closes. If you push the pumps all the way in, they will lock into place and will not automatically pump back. When it's in the highest position, it releases the air that's inside and allows it to fill with liquid easily. then pump it out and run through the process again. I recommend this product to anyone who has stripped the oil pan vent plugs or cannot access the underside of the car for a simple oil change.
