So I bought this as a last resort. I needed a replacement oil lift pump for my oil trailer. I figured I'd use it once or twice until it burned out and by then my big air pump would be fixed. That was over a year ago and the story continues to this day. I fed everything from dirty 15W-40 diesel oil, ATF, heavy gear oil and coolant. hell, almost everything. After a month of daily use, my mission was to kill this thing. So far it hasn't worked. I've pumped 10 gallons of 75W-140 gear oil continuously with this thing and it continues to work. The only thing that needs to be changed are the hoses. They are too small to pump significant liquids. Just grab a rubber heater hose and clamp, then replace the standard PVC hoses. I don't expect the average Joe to outperform this thing like I do, but all I know is that it's built to last.
