Discomfort demons back in action

Have loved these for years and have no idea why supermarkets have stopped stocking such a healthy and economical product. If you go to customer service and ask where the baggies are, someone will direct you to regular plastic bags. They don't seem to see the difference between a bag reel that makes it easy for you to tear off one bag at a time in a hurry, and a bag box that you can take a bag out of and think up a few things and then take care of, putting the excess back in the box when/if you have time. The product itself is as good as it gets and I thank Revain for carrying it around. BUT - with this last purchase, a genius decided that the bag roll does not need a cardboard core and therefore the star is missing. I know some types of toilet paper are sold without a center now, but the toilet paper is placed on a holder that keeps things more or less straight and useful, at least until the very last bit. taken off the roll while holding the box. and all boxes of this kind were specially constructed by the fiends to fall apart at the ends when used; Yes you can try to fix the box but I don't see why I should - I'd happily pay a few cents more to have a box that will hold together. scraps of cardboard around the rolled up bags and attempts to pull them out and separate them; This method works (with appropriate swearing and profanity as the reels hit the floor), but it's far from optimal. It no longer works for the last 5-6 bags, which have to be unpacked and torn apart manually. Leaving the cardboard center was a STUPID idea. I live in hope that no one will ever decide what to do with a 200 foot roll of aluminum foil.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
