Not impressed - my new review

Got these a few months ago and wanted to leave a comment. So again I went to use some small candle I have on my mantle. Last evening used remote and once again very dim and some didn’t even come on. 🤬I never had rechargeable batteries AAA, AA. So thought I would save or throwing Alkalinity batteries. Also I do have solar batteries for outside solar lights. So I also bought the EBL batteries charger (pictured). It was versatile on charging alkaline batteries and rechargeable batteries. The issue…

Pros
  • Suitable for a wide range of devices that use standard AA batteries
Cons
  • May not be compatible with some battery testers

Had these for a year hence this review.Loses charge when stored for a month. These batteries are used on an electronic door lock and have been subjected to only 4 charging cycles within a year. Noticeable loss of capacity with each passing charge cycle.I wouldn’t bother with these, just stick to eneloop batteries which I still use after a decade. Worth paying more for longevity.Update. Ok so much for the battery performance but I must say that the customer service from EBL is top notch. Offered

Pros
  • The price is good, capacity is great, and they charge well.
Cons
  • Could potentially cause injury or harm if mishandled

As I noted in the headline, these batteries are slightly BIGGER in diameter than non-rechargeable AA batteries. As a result, they didn't fit in my battery-operated taper candles. They worked well and lasted a decent amount of time in those objects where they fit in the battery chamber, but for me, they didn't fit in about half the things into which I tried to insert them, so I won't be ordering this brand again and am only giving a 3-star rating. UPDATE 2020.04.06 - I've upgraded my review from

Pros
  • Ideal for a wide range of applications including toys, cameras, and audio equipment
Cons
  • May not be as widely available as other brands with similar specifications

Love My batteries best in my review

I have tons of EBL batteries in all sizes, and three chargers. We have Luminara candles that we leave on all the time. These work great in Xbox controllers and charge really quickly. With a fleet of children all under the age of 7, we use a lot of batteries. These may cost a little more upfront, but there’s no denying the long term cost benefits we get from these. I haven’t had to throw any out yet over the last two years and they are in a constant rotation of use. There hasn’t been a…

Pros
  • They are easy to charge with a standard battery charger
Cons
  • May not come with instructions for proper use and care

Working well, so far

So far, so good. Came with maybe 20% charge, as indicated. The 6 (out of 16) that I put to use charged to full power in a generic charger. Are keeping my solar garden path lights lit up through the night, most of the time, depending on daytime sunlight intake. It will take a while to see if they continue recharging via the sun for as many cycles as advertized.

Pros
  • Been using these type of battery’s since 2014. It’s 2022 the power charger finally going bad.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to find replacement batteries for

Great batteries, but they are bit fat

They are great batteries, they hold a decent charge while in storage, and don't seem to have any issues when charging them. As a comparison, the amazon branded rechargeable have caused me several issues with dead batteries that just won't charge fully or at all. These EBL brand do a very respectable job.The only down side to them is they are a bit fat. For instance, if you use them in a remote control or in a portable travel mouse, they will be very tight. You can usually make them fit, but…

Pros
  • AA
Cons
  • Could potentially harm the environment if not disposed of properly

Great Batteries, Best Customer Service!

These are amazing batteries, long lasting and powerful. They pale in comparison to their customer service though, 5 star. Will be buying this brand from now on.

Pros
  • These batteries are an ideal replacement for CR123A batteries as they offer more capacity and are compatible with more devices
Cons
  • May not meet certain safety regulations

Might not fit. for my opinion

so they claim some pretty oversized stats on these batteries. They seem to hold up a little longer than my other rechargeables, so I'll give them that. But be warned, I think they get some of the extra mAh from making the batteries a little bit physically larger. I have some flashlights that these things will absolutely not go into. Just physically too round/large. You'd have to hammer them in, and then you'd never get then out again. So if they work in what you need, they will do a good job…

Pros
  • They have a high current output that makes them suitable for high-drain electronics
Cons
  • May be more prone to damage from impacts

Best thing since sliced bread.

Have been using rechargeables for years. During the holidays especially, we have a lot of little battery-operated decorations. These may seem pricy at first, but they do recharge over and over again, and last about the same as regular alkaline batteries (on a charge). They recharge many, many times, but I don't think as many times as advertised. They must test them under the most optimal conditions. Still a good deal though.

Pros
  • They come pre-charged, and they are Ready2Charge
Cons
  • May not charge as quickly as other brands with similar specifications

I was using Eneloop batteries for a long time, and they were great. But I switched to these since they're more affordable and I can't tell the difference. They feel well made and I've used them for many charges with no issues. So I do recommend them! Do note that these batteries come in different power ratings (not just volts, but how much power they store) so make sure you get the right ones.

Pros
  • Household Supplies
Cons
  • Could have a higher failure rate than other brands

Excellent customer service

Had an issue with batteries not taking a charge. Supplier reached out immediately and sent replacement batteries and followed up to see how the product was working. Excellent customer service and they stand behind their product which was appreciated.

Pros
  • They are reliable and consistent, making them a smart choice for demanding users
Cons
  • May require more frequent replacement than other battery types

Used to be great - my new review

Have bought these four or five times in last five years and they have always been great and a good price. The last pack of sixteen I got had FOUR that arrived dead and could not be charged. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but 4 out of sixteen is not a good sign. Buyer beware.Edit: I wrote the above review and EBL noticed it right away (on their own) and sent me 8 new batteries at no cost and they didn't ask me to change my review. I'm going to increase the star rating up to 4 stars from 2 since…

Pros
  • Household Batteries
Cons
  • May not work in older devices

Last long, recharge well

I’ve never kept an eye on exactly how long they last but I would guess at least a month. I just put them in my recharging machine overnight and they’re ready to go again in the morning. Use them for my taper candles around my house.

Pros
  • EBL AA rechargeable batteries are a cost-effective way to power your electronics
Cons
  • May not be as widely available in certain regions

Please see my revised review.

****THIS IS A CORRECTION TO MY PREVIOUS RATING****After speaking with the company I realized that I was the one who made a mistake on this item. I made a mistake by thinking that all AA batteries are the same. I did not take the different mAh into consideration. These batteries are 2800 mAh, as plainly noted on the batteries themselves.I had been using 2400 mAh prior to this and simply got my numbers screwed up. The batteries are fine. The charger I was using is fine. Therefore, everything I…

Pros
  • You can recharge them hundreds of times, meaning they are a cost-effective solution in the long-term
Cons
  • May not be as consistent in delivering power as other brands with similar specifications

Great batteries on my review.

These are awesome I always keep 2 batteries aside so I can continually switch out my batteries for my Xbox controller. May not be as effective in powering electronic devices.

Pros
  • You don't need to dispose of them after use, which is good for the environment
Cons
  • May not be as effective in powering electronic devices

Great Power and Capacity!

As a sports photographer I’ve used many AA batteries over the last 20 years, and these 2800 EBL’s are great! After 3 weeks of being charged and not being used, I charged them again and they did not need any more charging than my Duracell's that were charged and recharged at the same time. They all took about 48 minutes to fully recharge back to full. After that, I used some in a Nikon SB 800 flash, without my battery pack, and after 650 flash shots with instant recycling at -1/3rd setting, the…

Pros
  • Supercell lattice - EBL batteries made in supercell lattice technology, make it more inner space to contain such high volume power juice, provide constant voltage and best performance in heavy load discharge.
Cons
  • May be prone to corrosion over time

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quit working on my review.

Coming up on 3 years now. I have not charged these batteries that many times in that time frame. Maybe less than 10-12 times using an EBL charger. So far 9 have failed to recharge. I also have numerous EBL-AAA's and none of them have failed in that same time frame. That being said, none of them hold a charge for very long in storage and discharge quite fast. It is nice that they are rechargeable but wouldn't count on them when needed in an emergency, which is why I bought them. Good thing I…

Pros
  • I like it and have no problem
Cons
  • May require more care and attention than non-rechargeable batteries

Recharable batteries

These are great for the 6 flashlights my husband has. We use to go through so many batteries now we can take them out and recharge them!

Pros
  • They are an eco-friendly choice since they don't need to be disposed of after use
Cons
  • May not be as widely tested in scientific and engineering applications

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality: my feedback

Great quality. we have used the same batteries for a week now and they don't seem to be losing any power. Highly recommend these for christmas lights.

Pros
  • These batteries are high-capacity and will last a long time even in high-drain devices
Cons
  • May not be as reliable in powering high-stress devices

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good and Dependable

We love these batteries. They run absolutely everything we use AA batteries for: LED light strings, remote controls, mini flashlights, one of my guitar processor pedals, and even the clock on the wall. We always have some spares which are kept charged, so the moment one of our devices runs out of juice we're ready to reload. The exhausted batteries are popped into the charger, and once reinvigorated they'll become spares. Some of our EBL batteries have been in this cycle for a few years now…

Pros
  • They are great for photographers, gamers, and other demanding users
Cons
  • May not be safe for use in certain workplace environments
