Didn't work at all. It may have been defective, but it didn't do what it was supposed to do at all. No other words. There is no way to try before the trip.

I could be operator error but when I tried to use this adapter for my hair tools in Northern Europe it was an epic mistake. Your outlets are recessed about half an inch or more into the wall, and the prongs on this adapter don't reach. If you put an extension cord on the prongs, it won't hold securely in the outlet and will put out enough electricity to keep the light on the curling iron lit but not get hot. I should have researched more.

My wife took it to England. It worked but broke. It comes with a large electrical converter and several separate adapters. The adapter plate used has a third plastic pin that is cracked and broken. The adapters come in a thin cloth pouch that contains the adapters but does not protect against the vulnerability of this plastic adapter pin. Other adapters had all-metal pins, usually two; it had three. So when you use this pack, put it in a good box to protect it.
