No instructions but quality product.

Works great. Since there were no instructions, I had to do some research. Working with the brakes has definitely been made easier.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Easy repairability

Good tool for third party brakes

These fit my VW well. It's better to use the right tools than to try to fix a bug and then pay more. Great value for money and the plastic case for storing caliper tools is a plus for keeping things tidy. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Good value for money

I bought this set for less than $20. For the price I figured it was worth renting a similar item from an auto parts store. Nice to be around. If the kit was $100 I would just rent it from an auto parts store since I'm not a mechanic. To change the brakes on a few cars every few years, it's good to have them.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

Great Price Tool - Brake Tools

There was a problem with the original kit where the correct screw did not fit the mounting plate. Luckily this had no impact on performance and I was able to move the piston back on my Mustang GT using the left screw/plate. This tool made it very easy as I had to pinch and twist at the same time. Although the first tool didn't work 100%, I contacted Revain customer service and had a new set shipped with no problems. 5 stars for that.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Interval

This kit rocks! on Brake Tools

I bought an 18 piece set to ensure I have all the attachments I would ever need. The set is compact and versatile. The only thing missing was instructions on how to use the pressure plate (I'll look into that at some point) for non-bolted calipers. Overall great value and ease of use. Well built and durable - we did have to hit a couple of stiff calipers on first use and it handled it with ease. If you're working on new rear calipers that need to be turned to compress, this is the kit to go…

Pros
  • Some competitors
Cons
  • are unreliable

Good adapter kit for most vehicles

Bought to work with the rear disc and parking brake combo. The device was sold as new, but there was dirt in the housing where some adapters were installed. Certainly not the end of the world. There were no signs of wear on the screw mechanisms. As I said, there is no instruction booklet, but the adapter plate will be put on the brake caliper anyway, I don't see that as a big problem. Wanted to deduct a star because of cleanliness/uncleanliness, but can't. I am very happy with this tool, I did…

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Crumpled
