Aside from not being fingerprint resistant at all, I took the risk of ordering this bin rather than investing over $100. Mine arrived in perfect condition and was sent well packaged. It's the same size, if not a little bigger, than my sad Walmart plastic jar (finally goodbye) and the lid works perfectly. I wasn't interested in special garbage bags either. My regular Glad bags fit perfectly! In general, the purchase is satisfied!

This item is well made and looks very nice for the home, it's a good item I have to say especially for the price but with that said. I bought it in August just for that, a month later when it arrived it didn't work properly, the pedal opens the bin but as soon as I released the pedal it didn't go up and the bin didn't close by itself. I really like this bin. I found it worked with soft close (which is nice so you don't have to worry about waking someone up in the middle of the night). It's a decent size for a bathroom or laundry room, but I wouldn't use it. for the kitchen trash can. Also, I personally haven't noticed any "tipping" like you do with other flimsy bins. Originally bought a 50 liter can but sent it back for a smaller 30 liter can. This is a nice bin and works well mechanically. The problem is that regular sized bin liners don't fit. Regular 13 gallon bags are 24 inches tall, but this can is 25.5 inches tall. Who designs a trash can that doesn't use standard sized bags?
