    Disappointing Performance of PowerStep

    This override switch failed to meet my expectations in my automotive tests. As a result of my tests, I determined that this switch lacks durability and fails to function properly. However, the design is sleek and attractive, adding to the aesthetic appeal of my vehicle. Unfortunately, the poor quality outweighs the benefit of the appearance.

    Works great dear, should have been in the $1400 rails!

    After installing the switch I realized that one could add a door switch to hold the rails up when the driver's door is opened. I added grab bars for my 5ft wife to help her get into my 2021 Jeep Rubicon but they get in the way. I think using the SPST spring switch on the driver's door should allow me to "permanently" activate the switch. (The success of this may depend on the "flip” of the switch.)

    Works great, fairly easy to install but not required

    This switch is essential if you want to be able to control your power amplifier. I think this is important because without it the steps will be provided automatically. In most cases that's fine, but if you've parked next to a high curb, for example, you might not want them to automatically flip and bump into them, or you might just want to flip them over to clean.
