Description of ARES 42043 Construction Reversible Direction

SPECIFICATIONS: Our 1/4-Inch Drive 72-Tooth Flex Head Stubby Ratchet is made of Chrome Vanadium steel with a mirror polish chrome finish for enhanced durability. This ratchet's head features a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism and offers a full 180 degree range of motion. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: The reversible 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism only needs a 5-degree swing arc to operate while maintaining maximum torque. The drive direction can easily be changed with a flick of the thumb switch on the back of the ratchet head, and its quick release button makes socket changes a snap. WHY YOU NEED IT: Measuring only 4 9/16 inches in total length, this ratchet allows you to have the enhanced clearance you need in today's tight and confined engine compartment with knurling on the handle for non-slip use. This ratchet meets and exceeds ASME torque performance standards. RELIABLE | EFFECTIVE | EFFICIENT: Users trust ARES to be quality tools. You are backed by our Performance Assurance Limited Lifetime Warranty. Reliability and Quality

I have already bought Ares ratchets and am very happy with them. I'm a professional technician and the cost and durability of Ares tools are top notch without breaking the bank. Will continue to add Ares tools

I needed a short flex head ratchet to change the oil filter on my van, this along with the 24mm low profile socket makes the Trick. It will be a good tool for other jobs. Seems to be of good quality.

Good ratchet on Allen keys

I really liked the key, it really helps to get into hard-to-reach places. I used it to reattach the bumper and it's definitely a lot easier than a regular ratchet. I love that I can tilt the handle. Super comfortable, definitely recommend. I don't know much about durability.

Pros
  • Allen key
Cons
  • Some little things
