Good set for full size 1/2 impact wrench

Great set! Wheel nuts are tightened to a certain value. Of course, embedding requires permission, and many people reporting problems use less than the full 1/2 exposure.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • No instructions

Best Deal on Hand Tools

Trucks arriving at our store charge 120 per stick, that's 88 for the whole set?!? Definitely! Good paintwork and color coding help me quickly determine what torque I need on the job. Money well spent and I will be ordering more for other techs.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Reliability

Inaccurate for wrenches

Purchased to test operation on a torsion bar machine. the measured values are 1/3 to 1/2 of the value indicated on the blocks of a calibrated torsion system. I would NEVER trust them on my nut tightening machine. GARBAGE. don't waste money.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Nothing

Terribly inaccurate

I have 80 ftlb with torque up to almost 130 ftlbs, 65 ftlb with torque up to almost 90 ftlbs and 100 ftlb with torque up to about 140 ftlbs tested. All have been tested with a Matco torque wrench and used with an IR231C running on factory air. I turned my gun down to the lowest setting and they still have excessive torque. They appear to be suitable for everyday use, but are unusable due to their inaccuracy.

Pros
  • Improving performance and eliminating damage from impact wrenches
Cons
  • Some cons

Looks inaccurate

1. I used, I misunderstood. I grabbed 75 ft-lb/100 nautical miles. I was 100 foot pounds. Well after checking all the lugs with a torque wrench set at 100 ft-lbs I figured I was ready to go. Then I saw that it was a crank rated at 75 ft lb of torque and the lug nuts rated at least 100 ft lb. Let's just say I'm glad I didn't aim for 75 ft lb. They're all high torque, so I guess I'll use the lower rating. I always check with a torque wrench

Pros
  • Gently tighten lug nuts to recommended torque
Cons
  • No

Good value for money, poor case hinge

Good value for money, great set. I like the ability to put different size connectors on a flash drive instead of a built-in head. For example, the Honda Oddessey uses a large lug nut and the built-in torque is greater than the specified torque for that vehicle. With this set you can insert the right nut size and achieve the right torque. The only thing that could be improved is the case Hong, it's a folding type. Eventually it will break.

Pros
  • Made of chrome molybdenum, color coded with a matte finish
Cons
  • So far so good
