Solid two channel amp

I am very happy with this amp. The sound quality is excellent, even at high volume there is no hum. It was easy to set up. One thing to watch out for. A special feature of this amp is the "Max Power" control on the rear panel, which limits the power on each channel. A nice feature if you want to protect your speakers from the unexpectedly high volume of your audio source. The factory setting is the lowest, so the amp will not produce any sound until you turn it higher. It took a while to figure

Good price, good performance, disappointing sound.

I ordered this amp to replace an old integrated amp that I was using to drive two additional pairs of speakers from the Zone 2 outputs of my surround amp. This seems like a good choice for this application as it can drive two sets of speakers and turn on automatically when it detects a signal from the output of another amplifier. But after a few weeks of testing I had to go back as the sound, while powerful enough for my large Paradigm floorstanding speakers, just didn't sound right. Sharper…

Great amp for the price - that can be improved

First of all it's a great amp for the price. Sound quality is good, and auto-on is a nice touch for those who don't have a remote-on feature. What could be done better: - Turn up the volume! There's a knob on the front for minor adjustments, but the main volume controls are on the back of the device, where they're most likely not accessible. Why amplify left and right channels and not speaker A and speaker B? You can adjust the gain between the left and right speakers, but how often do people…
