Sturdy and leak proof

These bags are way better than I expected. maybe when they put garbage in there and it was very frustrating. These bags fit snugly and neatly in our 13 gallon trash can. They are thicker and stronger and GDP certified so they go into our city's compost. As long as we haven't had a single break, we will continue to buy them!

Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Like it but need to look

Compostable bag is definitely good for the environment I really want to do my part but the quality is worse than a regular bin bag, it leaks every time I have to put it down into a normal garbage bag (double waste of resources) and the price is higher than usual. I hope that the situation will improve in the future. Updated Review 4/28/20 : Downgraded to 2 stars because it leaks and breaks so easily, I just add regular food waste and don't use it anymore.

These bags look like tissue paper

I don't know if this is a bad batch or if they are, but these bags fall apart like tissue paper the moment you touch them. Pulling them even slightly to separate them (they're all connected in a perforated roll) will tear them to shreds (no exaggeration). I ruined 5 or 6 bags just trying to get one out of the box. Unfortunately I bought these long before I ran out of other bin bags and now that I'm finally using them it's too late to return them. Spring.

Ripping is easy! - Garbage, compost and lawn bags

Do not fill the bag completely if you want to tie the bag. I tried not to pour liquids into the bag based on other reviews and my first bag held up well. Be careful when separating the pouches along the tear line as I tore one of the new pouches and had to tape it shut. My second bag didn't hold up; The bottom fell out when I took it out of the jar. I'll try to make sure it doesn't get too crowded or that something damp or wet gets in and report back after a few more bags have been used.

Pros
  • Garbage, compost and lawn bags
Cons
  • Some small items

Garbage, compost and lawn bags

These garbage bags are a great sustainable alternative! They are durable, hold lots of waste and don't leak. If you leave enough space, you can just tie the bag shut as there are no laces. I only have two problems with bags. First, they are slightly more expensive. Second, they don't actually hold any odor, so if you have something that smells, a bin liner isn't going to cover it up. If you're trying to run a zero-waste household, this is the perfect bin liner. It makes you more conscientious…
