Leaking and not working

Product looks and feels good. But it leaks where the fittings twist. Second, it doesn't "open" self-closing jars. The flask is too big to let the freon through.

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • Good overall but...

The screw connection of the hose was firmly glued with a break.

couldn't replace the threaded fitting, didn't have the right size metric tap for the thread repair. cleaned and soldered. While I like the basic design, it needs improvement.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • I won't say anything

No threads in tools and equipment

Threadless faucet is useless junk not even worth the hassle of getting a refund just went and wasted that money plus another half because it is now under the weapon of time to Quitting Amazon sure doesn't fix what it used to be

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • No

When turning clockwise, the piston extends, it is too big and damages the can. When the piston extends, the valve closes so it cannot be used. Turning the valve counter-clockwise opens the valve but pulls the piston up, leaving a damaged 134a can that will not stay open or fully closed. Luckily I had a self sealing adapter and they worked with the new can.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • For pensioners

Does the job.: Air conditioning tools and equipment

I bought this along with a set of Pittsburgh and R134A Johnsen gauges that I bought locally. At first it didn't work. Then I realized that the 1/4" to 1/2" hose adapter had a standard Schrader valve installed to prevent anything from leaking out of the can. I closed the jar, unscrewed the schrader valve and reconnected it. It worked great with no leaks. If you buy one, remember to remove the valve (if necessary). You save yourself the confusion I had for not paying more attention.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Exterior
