Delivered without lid. Buyer Warning.

Attention, customer does not have a cover. However, the picture shows that the prototype project shelf is useless without a cover. No burrs and everything seems to fit well enough.

Pros
  • Aluminum
Cons
  • Not the best

This is bad quality.

I didn't expect perfection but this is terrible. The aluminum front panel is scratched, I had to choose the least scratched surface to look at the world. If it was $20 I could take it as "you get what you pay for" but at $60 it shouldn't look like something I found at a flea market.

Pros
  • Natural finish
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Poor workmanship for home storage and organization

This is the second one I've bought (second shame on me)! Thought the first was probably a QC Error (who does this on purpose) - but the second is the same (ordered a month apart) The edges of the front panel are roughly cut and sharp - so with a little sanding and putty you can make it more reliable and look better The chassis simply folds into position - no welds or screws to stiffen it - I think there should be something in the cover holding the chassis together (weak) It doesn't come with a…

  • Hard to tell

If only the corners were welded!

Agree with other reviews here - this is a decent case but I really wish they had welded or pinned the corners. If you don't need to mount transformers or anything on the back, that might be fine, but I had to use aluminum to weld the corners together. Also, I think it's pretty well made for the price. For those looking for a lid (not included), here are the part numbers: Vented - c-14431 Solid - c-14441
