🚪 Cal-Hawk Door Panel Upholstery Remover Tool Review

This tool was very thick and had jagged edges. I used some sandpaper on the edges to minimize damage when removing the door panel on my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Given the possibility of ordering it again, I would order one of the better and thinner staple removers available on Amazon.

Good for some things like removing wire harness terminals. It seems too thick to use as a popper. It's still a great tool to put in a box. The fit is pretty good depending on what it's being used for. Although the processing looks quite cheap. this has proven itself in many cases.

For the price you can't go wrong. Definitely not a snapon tool, but who cares about $5, you lose a bit of quality but save about $55. The only thing I see that ever breaks is that the red handle might slip off one day. some superglue and the arrows are fixed. It also has sharp machine marks and sharp edges, but a little sandpaper, some elbow grease, and 2 minutes can fix that. I use it at least twice a week for work and it works well.

Bought this tool to help me remove the door panel on a Ford Fusion when my door handle broke and I needed to replace it. The tool did exactly what it says on the tin and helped pull the door panel out easily after the screws were removed. You could use a regular screwdriver instead, but this will make the job more difficult and may damage or scratch the door or panel. For a few bucks it's worth getting the job done.
