Great dry dog food

I learned my lesson by feeding my dogs pea/bean dog food. All my Labradors are doing well because I switched a year ago. I highly recommend this dog food.

Pros
  • Little competition
Cons
  • No automatic food

The puppy loves it! - Food

I tried this on the recommendation of a local owner of a premium pet food store when we ran out of my old puppy food while touring around California. I couldn't find it in local stores here in Seattle, but luckily I can get it delivered through Revain. She is now 14 months old and has been eating it for over 7 months now, loves it and feels better.

LIFESAVER!: Food

This food is awesome! Our poor dog Pazzo, Lagotto, was in bad shape! His skin was bright red, itchy and smelly. He had a yeast infection all over his body and was losing weight and hair at an alarming rate. After a lot of research, we started feeding him this food exclusively. He tore it up! We run to the bowl and swallow it to the bottom! After about a week we noticed significant changes in his skin and coat. I'm a perennial fan! THANK YOU

seems to be helping my sensitive belly puppies.

Expensive for pellets but seems to help my pups with sensitive tummy. I tested my dog for food sensitivity and this was one of two bites he was able to eat! The open meadow came from Fat Happy Pets. I'm so glad I didn't see the other reviews on the other site, or maybe I didn't take a chance with the seller! I think it was a collective attempt to harm this supplier. However, I am pleased to report that I received a fresh, well-packaged bag of food and my dogs love it.

Received bad bag with good food

I have been feeding this food to my labrador for over a year and it has always suited him very well, right down to the last bag I bought from Revain. His stool was getting thin and runny so I called Canine Caviar and there were no reported recalls or issues with this batch. The only thing we could find out was that it was stored at too high a temperature in the Revain facility, as this food has no preservatives and is all natural it has gone bad (spoiled). I bought a replacement pouch from…

Different packaging. Made my dog sick.

I've been buying CC Meadow for years as my pup loves it and has great ingredients. I used to buy it from Chewy but have switched to Amazon the last few times with no problems. The batch received last week came in a completely different packaging. Yesterday morning I gave the dog the first cup for breakfast and by midday her stool was very soft. After I gave it to her for dinner, she felt unwell all night and asked to come out. Your stool is now green and completely watery. I will throw away…

The best food for dogs with reflux, allergies and food intolerances

Finally, finally, finally. Food suitable for my dogs with special needs. I have an allergy to poultry so even a little chicken fat as a preservative makes it very sick. There is no poultry in this meal, they even use mutton fat as a preservative instead of poultry fat. I have one whose eye has been crying from various foods for over a year but it literally cleared up the day she started eating that food. I had no idea it had anything to do with food because no matter what she eats, her eyes are

My dog doesn't like the taste.

Our Chihuahua was itching like crazy, and after injections of steroids and other medications, we tested her for allergies. It turns out she's allergic to beef, rice, barley, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, venison, and various other foods. Trying to find dog food that didn't use rice or potatoes as fillers proved SO difficult! Canine Caviar Dry All Holistic Lamb/Millet was the first product to use millet which she tolerates but hates the taste of it! I used to make homemade dog food—chicken…

Probably too many good things

I have three dogs: a Labrador, a GSD and a French Bulldog. The lab is terribly allergic and suffers from chronic ear infections. GSD and Frenchie have only recently taken up paw licking, possibly due to seasonal allergies. GSD has also always been a sensitive puppy with frequent bowel movements. I fed him a food specially formulated for GSD and while it seemed to help him, I wasn't too keen on the brand or the ingredients. I had them all on different foods and was looking forward to putting…
