Easy to use and my son loves it. I've only used it twice, but both times it was fine. The non-stick coating did not come off. I sprayed it with Pam before using it, but haven't tried it without Pam, so I can't say if the nonstick coating works. But nothing stuck with Pam. I used 1 tbsp for each car and it worked well. No big mess or anything like that. I use store bought pancake mix (just add water). Big hit!

Very cute and funny for kids. The only thing is that if you don't use PAM every time, it becomes difficult to get out of the machines. Also use as a tablespoon of batter to make each machine - I filled each one to the brim and it was a disaster! If anything, underfill the mold and use a silicone spatula to pop out of the mold - this machine gets SUPER HOT. So if you are doing this with children be very careful, I burned myself 2 or 3 times trying to push the machines out.

I wanted to love this so much! My son was so excited to have the car waffles. Such a big disappointment! As soon as I cooked the first batch, the nonstick coating immediately peeled off and stuck to the food. My son is very into cars and yes he loved car waffles. The problem is that it took forever to put the exact amount of waffle mix into each individual hole to make a nice machine out of it. It took me three or four games to get the hang of it, and in the end it's more new than anything.
