possibly wrong carburetor for Bayou 220

Screws and starts but that's it. doesn't run when you step on the gas. I think the carburetor on the Bayou 220 isn't adjusted properly.

Pros
  • Fits 1988-1998 Kawasaki Bayou KLF 220
Cons
  • Updates

Works very well on motorcycles and power sports

Fits as advertised but the gas inlet is 3/16" instead of 1/4" like the old one. You will need a new gas line to install this on a 2005 Kawasaki Bayou 250.

Pros
  • For 2003-2011 Kawasaki Bayou KLF 250
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Fuel inlet is smaller on bikes and strength athletes

Good product but I found the fuel inlet to be a bit smaller than the OEM carb. It's okay, but now instead of doing a simple job, I have to convert the smaller fuel line to a larger one because the outlet on the petcock is larger than on the carburetor.

Pros
  • New high quality replacement part
Cons
  • Not sure

Not very happy with carburetors

Had to fit a float in one and in the other the idle coil spring was too loose, I had two matching four wheelers from a customer who sat in the tanks where both taps and filters were were cleaned and I still had to cycle them on and off four or five times to be happy with the performance

Pros
  • Easy fit
Cons
  • Will do

Complete scrap best in Parts

Installed, turned on petrol, petrol from the overflow ran out immediately, float got stuck, disassembled bowl, adjusted float, reassembled and reinstalled and now the petrol is not coming out of the Overflows but doesn't start. Pull back, recheck fuel float, fuel feed to carburetor, nothing comes out. The carburetor I removed was better. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • High quality spare part
Cons
  • Short instructions
