Great for sidewalls and plastics

I know some people have complained about them falling apart when used on sidewalls. I haven't encountered this problem yet. I apply PERL to it and use it on both plastics and sidewalls. The tires are Duratrack, with lots of grooves, text and shapes that can damage the foam, but I haven't figured out how people ruin them. I used normal application power and they covered well. The price is also reasonable for two applicators.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Clean hands on tire and wheel care

This tire applicator is a winner, I've been using this guy for years. I love that it has a plastic handle so your hands stay clean and don't get all that tire mucosa on it. I can usually use weekly for about 3-4 months before the foam starts to break down. It applies a nice even layer of tire shine and since you use the same applicator over and over again you save on product. After it's filled with glitter for your hoops, all you have to do is add something for each hoop.

  • Great price

All terrain tires may not be used.

As previously mentioned, these tires are NOT designed for truck tires with aggressive sidewalls. Maybe that's why it's worth researching further? I don't know, but they should have lasted longer. However, when applying tire gel to my BFG All Terrains they didn't work, they just broke right away and can't be reapplied. I was lucky enough to put at least one layer on the tires. They're only made for your mom's Corolla or Accord, not truck tires. Looking for the best application tool.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Something Else

Nearly perfect. - Car Care

really good use of tire gel. This is almost the exact tread width of my tire so fits my needs except for the "T". The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the missing feature: sealed lid. It's basically a sponge with a handle that picks up the gel. So when you lower the applicator, the gel will eventually drip off and cover whatever surface it's on. I keep mine in a nitrile glove, which isn't too bad, but the gel drips onto the glove and coats the grip. Forces me to wear gloves when using it. An…

Crumbles like breadcrumbs after 2 uses

I am very careful how I put tires on my wheels. I used to use a standard 5 inch round microfiber applicator, but since they were cheap and had pretty good reviews I decided to give them a try. They seem to be of pretty good quality. The foam is nice and dense but not hard at all. This is made for a simple hoop application. It spreads the bandage very evenly and leaves a nice even layer of shine (I only use splint gel/cream but it works with all types of splints). The handle provides a good grip

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Easily crumpled

Ideal for applying tire shine.

I received 2 with my purchase. I bought it together with "Mothers 10324 Reflections Tire Care". This makes using the tire cleaner cleaner and more accurate. The spray on the tire cleaner bottle wasn't very accurate. Spraying this foam applicator and then running the applicator over the tire makes the process more efficient. The applicator has a hard plastic handle and a small rim around it to protect your fingers from hitting the hoop when you move the applicator. the edges. Great value for…
