I have ordered 3 of these. 2 of them are working great. They are very fast and effective. The third one stopped working after about 1.5 months. I tried to call the company to send it in for repair/replacement and I cannot get a hold of a single person in any department. I tried calling sales, tech support, and the operator. This counterfeit bill detector works really well, putting it through some testing, I found this detector to be very accurate, even wrinkled bills passed my tests. I had purchased one for my retail store and its been working so well, I purchased 4 more for a few of or other stores. Highly recommended. Hope I didnt just jinx myself, lol.

I bought this machine back in June. It worked well gives several false negatives but because it forces us to check the bills and alerts us we are more aware of false bills. It only lasted 5- 6 months due to heavy use. It stopped working and does not take bills anymore.

this little machine is handy, however, it is super picky; any little bend the bill has it will spit out & state it’s false but once you manage to finally put it correctly, it reads as pass. i have only tried it on $5,$20&$100

Why take the risk of accepting counterfeit money. just buy this and it will Save you , I guarantee, I’m on $150 it’s saved me in bad $ already.

The size is perfect if you dont have alot of room. Usually you have to run the first bill through afew times before it reads correctly. When checking a bill you better stand back and have a mit ready to catch your Bill's! Spits it back at you fast and if your not right there to grab your bill, it will go flying.

Working great so far. Fast and easy to operate. It has a tough time with $10 bills sometimes. It usually takes 2-3 tries before the bill registers. Overall it has been very reliable.

This was our first season to use and we double checked all $100 bills. We checked 50 and the machine was right everytime. You must remember to insert bill in correct direction!

We purchased 16 of the Cassida InstaCheck and it's actually an amazing little device. Very simple to use, fast and effective. My issue is that we have already had to replace a quarter of the devices in less than a year due to the machines breaking down. In some cases the sensors simply needed cleaning. However, many of the devices simply stopped working despite vigorous cleaning. I'm currently researching alternatives to the Cassida or warranty protection. Even with the warranty I'm concerned…

Received this item quickly and tested it with several genuine bills, right out of the box. For each one ten tries with the bill facing the right way around, resulted in 7-8 fails and 2-3 passes. If it was jut one bill, ok, but this was one by one, a stack of bills of vaious denominations and conditions ranging from worn to brand new. The unit seems to just give random readings. I am getting a refund, but what a waste of my time. Save yourself the frustration and find a different item.

So far it’s been one day and we love it! Very easy to use. We deal with high volume of money on a daily and this is just what we need.

I have 5 of these units between my two restaurants, one unit which I purchased about 45 days ago, the fail light does not work, because this SHOULD be under the warranty I contacted Cassida regarding a replacement. However, it has been over a week and now they are requiring me to mail back the defective unit first (frustrating but okay) but they also want me to mail it back in the original shipping box and retail box with manual, cord and everything. Works very well. Paid for itself right away, when it picked out a counterfeit $10.00 bill on day one. Be careful because it ejects the bills out fast and throws them at you. Be ready to catch.

I bought this for my friend who owns a little convenience store as a gift for her and her hubby. According to her it actually works great and comes in handy when a customer comes in with a big bill. There has been an incident that one of her Cashier accepted a fake money. So this little machine has been a great help to her.

I use this everyday. but money needs to be in good shape, if money is a bit crumbled, detector reads it as a fail. At times need to run cash 3x in order for the cash to pass

Other than figuring out you have to put the bill through the system twice when it's been left idle for a period of time. The first time to turn it on this is a useful piece of machinery.

Unit wasn't working right so Customer service sent a new one which works a lot better. Wrinkled bills must be flattened smooth to get read as "good"

This machine is really good at detecting counterfeit bills. I had a customer that tried to pay me with 2 $20 bills, the texture of which looked weird to me. Since I have gotten this machine I usually check all bills with a denomination of $10 or more. When I checked both bills on the machine, they both didn’t pass. I asked the customer if he has different bills to pay. He asked for his money back and just left the building. I am so glad I have this detector now. Saved me $40 right there.

This machine is great but it does not stay turn on. Not great when you get busy and you have to scan $50 and $100 bills. You have to turn it off and on again.
