Great tool, versatile and inexpensive.

Shown is a 6mm circlip. If anyone has ever tried to remove and install a ring of this size (SMALL), they know that it will most likely be found by a vacuum cleaner after it has flown somewhere in the room. These are GREAT circlip pliers on many levels. First, there are several different nib sizes, as well as straight and 90 degree nibs. They're easily swapped out with the included Allen key, and they all fit in a small pouch to keep them together. The spring tension is just right, low enough to

There's nothing like the right tool

The job I worked on involved a 2 1/4" external snap ring and 8" snap ring pliers (not channellock) which I was (not channel lock) . t to the task. Their tips were too small to hold the ring and the pliers themselves were too weak to handle the large locking ring. After several failed attempts, I finally decided on a better circlip pliers. I was initially put off by the price of these 10" channellocks, but once I got my hands on them and put them to use I thought they were worth it. They snap…

Good tool, good value for money

This is a good quality tool and well worth the money. The shifting mechanism (inside-out) works well, and I like the convenience of just sliding the lever instead of rotating the axle. The pins are hard and strong and I don't see them deforming when used on a loose (not rusted or corroded) clip with properly sized holes. If this is the case, the tool is not being used for its intended purpose. Small metal pins are not designed to break stuck clips. If you don't want to use many other methods to
