Chemical Guys BUF_900 Conditioning Brush Review

Use it throughout your interior. A very handy tool. In general, the Chemical Guys aren't very popular, but it was a good deal. I'll update it over time and see how it holds up.

Started using it straight away whilst working on a detailing project. Works very well, especially with microfiber cutting discs, they are strong and feel good. I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner.

I received this piece of junk only to find it was used once and then threw it away. I used it to clean my polishing pad. When I was done there were three small clusters left. Return shipping will be more expensive. very insatiable

This works as expected to prevent pad build-up. I use it every few plates or when excessive debris hits the substrate to refresh the condition. It will wear down the pad a bit if used too much or if you put too much pressure on it, but otherwise it won't work properly.

This brush is too hard for use on delicate polishing pads. I tried it on a black pad and it ripped my pad after just 1 use. Why would they sell such a hard brush? Are they trying to rip your pads so you have to buy new ones? Sad but possibly true. Take my advice: if you're using a brush, use it very lightly, or better yet, just use a citrus cleaner and warm water. I would not and cannot recommend this product.

This brush is essential for pad polishing. I use it every time before starting a new section. It's really not practical for me to fully wet clean a pad or have a stack of 12 clean pads when buffing. After I've applied the varnish once or twice, I increase the speed and let the brush remove any old dried varnish and/or paint. Works perfectly! This may wear down the pads a little quicker, but will clean them; Part of the cost of color correction IMO. Also, the pen conveniently fits into a pocket…
