Cannot be used straight out of the box. Suitable for light duty only.

The bolt on mine was very difficult to turn so the crisp threads needed cleaning. The tap (14mm) pulled quite a bit of material from the casting, indicating poor tool life planning and factory quality control processes. The bolt had to be fed through the die and under the spoked wheel for a few minutes to deburr the factory cut threads. The center hole is slightly off-center. One of the pin holes is so far off center that you can see the spring through the side of the casting!

This is NOT an 8 " puller! Can be 6-15/16 " or 6-7/8 "

Although I expected that it's a cheap tool, I was expecting it to be able to at least pull the 8" impeller out of the pumps we're working on. This is rated and specified as an 8" stretch. Thing is, it's more like it like a 6-15/16" or 6-7/8" stretch. See photo. It looks like it's stretched to 2-1/4"+/-" and up to a max Size may shrink from 6-15/16"+/-". This product should under no circumstances be labeled as an 8" puller! This is very misleading and totally false! Very disappointed as we often

Light Duty Only: Tools and Equipment

It folded in half like soft cheese when I applied pressure. I know it's not rated for a load anywhere, but you won't get a deal buying it if you have a tough job. I have a very rusty hub that needs to be removed from a splined shaft and figured I could do it with about a ton of pressure. before that he begins to bow in the middle. The levers appear to be tool steel, but the crossbar is soft iron. It's probably fine for pulling pulleys, but if I had to do it again I'd just buy something thatโ€ฆ
