I replaced my 5 inch tip with this. Installation is a simple hex wrench that took about 2 minutes. I've noticed that my truck sounds a little louder and a little deeper.

I dropped my 6.0 and without the tip I regretted it but now with the tip wow it sounds good I hear the turbo whistle all the time! And when I stumbled upon it. like a lion roaring at the top of its lungs!

After a few months the chrome is very dull. I wrote a letter complaining about the problems but received NOTHING from the supplier!

This review got to the post very quickly which made me very happy. Super easy installation. I had it in my truck for a few days and I was driving on the freeway and it came loose. I'm very upset about this, but I had to attach it. I trusted the design and it failed. I'm very upset that it worked because now I don't have $50 left and no exhaust tip. Just be careful when you buy it to shrink wrap it in there to make sure it doesn't come loose.

Unfortunately after about 40 miles the nut that was welded to the tip to hold it securely in place broke. I was lucky enough to spot it in my driveway rather than seeing him hit another car on the freeway. Installation was fairly easy and didn't require excessive torque on the screw or anything, which surprised me to find it had broken. UPDATE: I contacted the company and they responded very quickly and replaced the tip with a new one very quickly. I'm increasing my rating based on this…

I don't normally write reviews but this exhaust tip exceeded my expectations. Save money and buy this instead of a big brand! The same quality without the high price. If your exhaust is 4" in diameter, it will fit. Gave my Cummins a nice deep tone and made it sound so good! I just put it on tonight and love it! Time will tell if the paint will hold up to the weather and exhaust heat, but overall very satisfied. The clasps are very nice and strong. Delivery was very fast, arrived a week earlier,

for the money it's good, I bought it for the first time, I got it wrong with the size but I was able to send it back without problems, in the end another one was sent back, and the new one in my door kicked in less than a week, my old 12v cummins grew well and it squeaks a bit but i still really like it, it was easy to install just make sure after a mile or so if you drive, stop and check and re-tighten the clamp as mine started to loosen or you could have caught a weld in a few places but…

I'm not usually a reviewer but I've noticed people get angry that the paint has chipped after a few weeks. yes it does, and that's to be expected with the heat of a diesel exhaust. BUT. This tip costs $40, ships to your door, and is actually stainless steel, albeit low quality, with a black finish (I've tested it with Rockwell hardening files as much as I can, and its hardness ranges from 410 to 416SS). The next cheapest in this size and configuration is around $75, with the more expensive ones
