I like it. Suitable for diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

Complete service manual covering several different BMW models. At this point he has all the information I need to change tires, injectors, reset ABS sensors and do general maintenance. I like it.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless functions

Good guide but covers too many models in one guide

Good detailed guide but I think I would be happier if the guide only focused on the R1150GS Adventure and not a range of different models.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Stock availability

BMW SALES MANUAL in Diagnosis, Testing Tools

THIS BOOK IS DETAILED AND SEEMS COMPLETE. I WAS DISCONNECTED FROM MY 1999 BMW 1100 RT MOTORCYCLE TO INSTALL A BROKEN TOP HOOD AND THEN ASSEMBLED MY BMW TOGETHER WITH THE HELP OF DRAWINGS AND DETAILED PARTS ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS WITHOUT SURPRISE.

Pros
  • Easy Adjustment
Cons
  • Weight

Excellent Tool and Equipment Guide

This is a well organized manual for those who wish to do their own maintenance or repairs. Print and images are crisp, on high quality paper and well organized. I have previously purchased a Haynes manual and overall was very disappointed with it. Not so with the Clymer, I just wish I had bought the Clymer manual first. So buy Clymer manuals, not Haynes.

Pros
  • Factory sealed in plastic.
Cons
  • High Price

BASICS UNDERSTOOD. for diagnostic, test and measurement tools

Not as helpful as the dealer manual or professional manuals I'm used to. Such as. No security label in the fuse box. All you have to do is try to follow the wires to find out where they lead. The wiring diagram leaves a lot to be desired. The wires end in a "connector" with no indication of where and what connector, or even how many wires are in that connector. Cable colors are not always correct. There are no details on how the systems work (most manuals include a brief description of the…

Pros
  • Detailed photos and illustrations to help you get the job done.
Cons
  • Compatibility

Classic service book.

I bought the same manual for the same model of bike 15 years ago. I sold this bike many years ago and recently bought the same model again. It's thorough, although it does cover some similar bikes, and you should always be sure to double-check the info on your bike. As of this writing, BMW now offers motorcycle-specific manuals online for only about $10. I bought the book because I needed the manual in my garage where I work and didn't want to keep running to my computer to look through the…

Pros
  • Manufacturer Haynes.
Cons
  • piggy bank price
