I followed directions to the letter when replacing the batteries in a 2015 Toyota Highlander and 2016 Toyota Avalon this weekend. This item worked great for saving all of my car's memory when changing the battery. I deducted a star because the wiring in my car was quite difficult. That's because the cable exits the side of the device, not the back. Because the shape of the OBD connector is not symmetrical, it only fits one way (i.e. it cannot be rotated 180 degrees).
