So far, these have definitely protected my hands when using the mandolin. However, I am still careful when I do the slicing. So, I'm not sure if these would hold up if I cast caution to the wind. Before the gloves, I was cut by the blades so I'm very fearful of a repeat. All in all, I can see that are an added safety factor with the mandolin. I would recommend these gloves.

Bought these to use with a mandoline slicer. They are comfy, easy to clean (was slicing beats and none of the juice stained it).That said, after 3 uses, one of the fingers is sliced open. HOWEVER, my finger was not so.these did do their job! I'll take a ruined glove over a sliced hand. That said, I was hoping these would last a bit longer. This might have been a fluke. I'll update my review once I have some time with the other glove.

These things are great. They even keep me from getting splinters when handling wood a lot. I bought them to use while doing some minor home repair that required me to use some sharp objects. They were definitely worth the money and have saved my hands from damage.

Durable and sticker plants don’t go through. I’ve bought before and I carry a ne pair in my car. I usually buy medium but I like them snug so small fits perfect.

When building an AOS army (wargaming miniatures) I do a lot of cutting with a very sharp exacto knife.I am also very uncoordinated at times.you can see where this is going.These gloves have saved me from making unintended blood sacrificed.They do not fit as tight as I would like, but they are workable and do what they're meant to do.Protect your fingers!

Used mine for craft/x-acto knife work, and they have protected me several times.Be aware though: These gloves (and likely any gloves of the same material: HDPE) get cold fast! They offer almost no thermal insulation (Maybe they actually cool your hands a bit?).

Gloves are a little on the smaller side but work very well to resist cuts from slashes and larger piercing blows. Will protect hands well.
