Description of 🌬️ Advanced 3-in-1 Indoor Air Quality Monitor with CO2/RH/Temp Data Logging and Audible Alarm - NDIR Sensor Technology

Multiple measurements simultaneously on a large LCD screen: (1) CO2, (2) temperature with switchable °C/°F unit, (3) relative humidity, (4) air quality level indication (Good / Normal / Poor), (5) date and (6) time are all displayed on the big display at the same time. Large capacity for data logging and adjustable sampling frequency: one easy press on button to activate the data logging function, which can store up to 15,999 groups of data; Sampling rate can be set from 1sec to 4hour 59min 59sec as you prefer. Nice big display for parts and accessories

The machine seemed to work well, it was a bit difficult to set up, the instructions are written in a font like 4py, even with reading glasses I need a magnifying glass to read them. Although the display of the device is nice and big.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Inexpensive and efficient air quality meter.

Works great, it can definitely catch when we leave the house and come back since we have houseplants. You can set or disable the alarm threshold. It is set much lower than the OSHA Transitional Normal Maximum. In terms of humidity, it matches our Nest thermostat. However, it is recommended to keep CO2 levels in a building as low as possible for optimal health.

Alarm in my house, the air was toxic, full of CO2

I installed it and it read 1050ppm CO2. That makes sense since I've been tired lately and have a headache. The house is too sealed and we have forced air central conditioning. I opened the windows and aired the house. It took a while but now it's down to 837. Everyone should probably see how healthy the air inside is. CO2 is toxic in high concentrations.

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Facilitates carbon dioxide accumulation

I controlled the carbon dioxide levels with a timer. Which works well, but you have to keep an eye on it because of the variables. For example, plants use more CO2 as they get bigger by opening doors and running them every 15 minutes. This block keeps it within 50ppm and goes out along with the lights. This extends the life of my CO2 tank and the plants receive a constant level of CO2. I check it when I go into my grow room, but it's always where it should be. And the price was right.

stopped working after half a year

Purchased in July 2015. It was working fine until January of this year (about half a year) and then this happened: the LCD stopped showing the bottom half of each number (although the Readings could still be deciphered (hardly - with some guesswork) but over the course of the next week the device spontaneously stopped working (hung and stopped monitoring) at frequent intervals and could only be revived with a reset. Now it barely works and only for very short periods of time. Because I need to…

Great for home use to control CO2 levels

I bought this after reading the latest research that CO2 levels above 900ppm reduce our ability to think by 30% or more, the certainly has an effect on me when I play guitar or video games, although it seems to become more evident with age. My goal was to keep the room at around 600ppm and not spend too much money on heating and air conditioning. It controls a small window fan (very small and very quiet, commonly used to cool computer cases - Noctua 200mm). For more information see this guide…

Good CO2 meter for parts and accessories

Good CO2 meter. This meter allows me to monitor indoor air quality and alerts me when ventilation is needed. INTERFACE: The interfaces and buttons are not so easy to set up the parameters without reading the manual. I had to read the document carefully to 1) adjust the GOOD/NORMAL/BAD CO2 settings, 2) turn off the beeps, and 3) change the time and date. The default time and date set in the device was in the Chinese time zone, so I assume it's not just a Chinese manufacturer. This makes me…
