Increase the size, 38mm closer to 36mm, for a 1.5 " tube take 40mm

Update: And now it's leaking because I was sent 36mm disguised as 38mm . I have to downgrade it to 1 star for all the work I put into this and the frustration it caused. If you go elsewhere for a US made CNC machine of a suitable diameter, I suggest others do the same. Be sure to order 40mm if you need it for a 1.5" hose! I give 3 stars because the price is great, but the diameter deviates by almost a full 2mm. I wish it had a 3/8" NPT threaded hole instead. Temperature sensors and switches are

Seems to be a solid product

I bought a 32mm adapter from UPRG8 but it turned out to be too small and leaking . Since Dewhel delivers faster, I ordered a 34mm adapter from Dewhel. It turns out they are both EXACTLY the same size (32mm for the UPGR8 and 34mm for the Dewhel)! For the Dewhel 34mm adapter, the widest part of the flange is 34mm and the inside of the flange is 31mm. That's not what I need for my 32mm ID hose. I ordered a Dewhel 36mm ID adapter and it fits my 32mm ID hose perfectly! I accidentally got someโ€ฆ

34mm is actually 32mm

I measured the upper radiator hose on my 1990 Toyota 4runner to get the correct sensor housing size - my measurements were 34mm. I was thrilled that 34mm was an option, so I jumped up and down and ran to the "Add to Cart" button. Two days later, a shiny red block of aluminum was already waiting for me in the mail. Like a kid on Christmas Day, I tore open the package and cut open the box. She looked small. I compared it to a radiator hose and indeed it looked small. I put a hose on it and theโ€ฆ

Wrong measurement. But it's cheap

ordered 32mm because the inside of my coolant line is 31mm so that would be the perfect stretch. NO. The outer part of the key edge is 32 mm. Actual tube size is 30mm, it didn't work properly so I sent it back and ordered 34mm. The tubing was sized correctly but the lip was then huge making it difficult to fit the silicone tubing onto it. It used to be that the distance between the center block and the locking lip wasn't very wide, so a safe and good quality hose clamp was a bit of a riskโ€ฆ

Nice but needs work.

Product as described. However, it required some extra work to actually install. First, the production is very good. The black finish should last up to several years of use. The radiator hose connections are indeed 32mm. I highly recommend buying the next larger size. 34mm? The fittings fit into the radiator hose. They slide in and out without a fight or anything. I believe it may be too small for actual use, although I haven't installed it yet. The temperature sensor fitting was too small forโ€ฆ

Worked great! for coolant temp

Application: 2007 Infiniti G35 X - AWD 5/AT 4dr Ideal for my electrical water temp sensor installation. I couldn't find the size (in millimeters) of my radiator hose anywhere so I ordered a 34mm which turned out to be too small and enlarged it to 38mm which was a tight fit. I went ahead and installed it in the upper radiator hose which I replaced with a new one before installing this thing. When cutting, make sure you remove a 3cm piece from the part of the hose where you want to connect theโ€ฆ

Size reference

My opinion and size experience (review at the end): You want a tight fit (little resistance when connecting the hose). Measure the inside diameter of the part of the hose you want to connect it to. If this is not possible because you need to cut the hose and you cannot park the car for a few days, measure the outside diameter and subtract the wall thickness of the hose X2. Based on the measured tubing ID, select the closest size adapter (+2mm). You might be able to get away without growing aโ€ฆ
