Good product.: Top Coats

I ordered 5 gallons to make a 36ft fifth wheel. The instructions call for two layers. I needed 3 layers. I didn't wear thin coats. They were pretty fat. The rest of the process was great. Used Dawn detergent to wash large items. Then I used the first part. I didn't have a high-pressure cleaner and only had a limited amount of water. I placed the first part in a 5 gallon bucket and applied liberally to a clean surface with a car wash brush. The roof was very clean when finished. Most of the time

Like the product though.

Good product. However, upon opening the first jar, I noticed that the product had the consistency of yogurt. Of course it's a rubber paint, so I didn't have any comparable products from Dicor. I just went about my work and applied it. After drying and opening the second can, I noticed that the consistency of the product in the second can was much thinner. OK. What now? I'm applying now and should be ready within 5 hours of starting and have two shifts. rock and anvil. I noticed a dent in the…

Don't be fooled by the gallonage.

Until you receive the canister and read the instructions, for a 26ft RV they want you to buy 3 gallons. WOW add this to an activator and the cost is significant. We saved $80 by not buying campers anywhere in the world. I applied an activator. Waited 30 minutes and washed off the print. I waited for it to dry and tinted it with a disposable brush where the roller wouldn't work well and around the edges. Went straight to the first shift. Drawn left to right across the RV. The next layer went…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

To update. Mostly satisfied

I hired my son for this job. I wanted to cover the roof to extend its life and stop the chalk streaks on the fifth wheel. I spent 3 hours wrapping it in plastic as recommended by the manufacturer. Then step 1 done carefully to avoid splashing, then scrubbed and rinsed for about 1/2 hour. Waited for drying, didn't take long at 74Β° and sunlight. Then apply 2 thin layers in steps of 2 with sufficient drying time in between. Looked really good and felt good at the time to make sure it was done…

Good at first but read update

I finished this work yesterday. My RV's roof is approximately 10 feet by 18 feet (180 square feet), minus the area occupied by the air conditioner, bathroom fan, refrigerator vent, and other vents. A gallon of this says it will make two coats for about 120 square feet so I bought two gallons thinking I might have enough for a third coat. (I also bought two bottles of the obligatory soapy water to prepare the activator). We started our work around 9:30am by taping the plastic wrap around the…
