DigitNow 22MP film scanner

The product is a little smaller than I expected. However, it is easy to use and works great. For the money it was a good buy and delivery was very quick.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good product! by Office Electronics

I bought this and got a Christmas present and my brother loved it! It was amazing to see how clear and concise the photos looked despite being taken almost 10 years ago when technology wasn't that advanced. Absolute purchase recommendation!

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Very Expensive

I need to see my family's super old negatives

I placed the negative as instructed and saw the photo in color and it was an old photo so it came out pretty good. I can't wait to dig up some more of the negatives I've given away over the years and see them again. Good price, happy with the result!

Pros
  • everything is fine!

Great product for this money.

This product is easy to install and use. That's good because the manual wasn't very detailed. It took some trial and error to find the most efficient way to copy my 35mm slides. After that I copied about 400 slides in a short time. There are better products on the market but they are much more expensive. For the money it couldn't be better.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some bugs

Nothing for serious photographers.

Scans negatives quickly and easily. That's intuitive. It's small and light. The picture quality is so bad it's almost ridiculous. For a serious photographer, this gadget is practically useless. I would call it a toy or a curiosity. Not exactly rubbish, but close. If you want to turn your old slides and negatives into digital memories, that's marginal. Demonstrate your achievements in film photography? No way!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The directions don't help much, but are easy to understand.

Great unit for the price. "Directions" leaves a lot to be desired, but just use logic and keep pushing the buttons :). You could do a decent color match right away. I used a memory disk. He doesn't use a stick. Once you get into the rhythm of taking the slide out of the projector carriage the same way each time, placing the aluminum frame the same way each time, flipping it the same way each time, inserting it into the slide holder, you're working until the end . "save", remove from gadget and…

  • This is great

Works as advertised and worth the price.

I bought this converter to shoot 48 year old Super8 films I had from my school days. I was able to capture many sharp and very colorful stills from about 4 small Super8 rolls. I even took a series of about 50 shots and created a short video clip. Of course it was just to see if it worked, and it did. You can't do more, it's too exhausting. A film converter is best suited for this. As for using the device, I learned the features as I used it. It is so easy. After that, I took hundreds of photos…

Great product especially for the price

, I have been a photographer for almost 50 years and have many shipping boxes full of prints with cut films and slides. I used to develop my own film and slides and spend far too many hours in the darkroom, burning and dodging my way to the elusive "perfect print". My wife gave me Photoshop for Christmas for a year and I've happily transitioned into the digital world. I've been away from active filming (30+ videos a month) and active digital filming (a few thousand pics a month) for a while now

Pros
  • Converts 35mm/135, 110, 126kpk and Super 8 film, slides and negatives to digital JPEG format in 2 seconds.
Cons

Fast scanning and handheld

Exactly as described. Light and small. Fits comfortably in one hand. Works great when I sit and watch TV while scanning 35mm negatives. The limited instructions are a bit confusing at first. Only 5 keys to find out. Start with power. After turning it on, you can change the scan from 14 MP to 22 MP. You have playback view options. Select the camera icon by clicking the OK button. This switches to the recording mode. Once there, place the film in the appropriate plastic sleeve. After several…
