RV Toilet Gasket Easy Repair

I had a gasket leak on my RV toilet. I saw a YouTube video where a guy removed his toilet, disassembled it, and then replaced the gasket. I seriously considered just replacing my toilet, a big expense, rather than going through a really ugly renovation. Luckily I found this replacement gasket and easy installation instructions. When other reviewers say it's a five-minute job, they're not exaggerating. Really easy renovation and just as good as the new tape. Saved me a lot of money and/or aโ€ฆ

Easy to install and complete solution to our problem

We have very hard water so the gasket that came with the toilet has become so hard that it no longer forms a seal. This caused a big problem because there was a strong odor of methane coming from our storage tank. When I looked for a fix and saw that I could order and install it, I was hooked. After watching a few videos I saw that not even the toilet needed to be removed. Installed yourself in five minutes. This completely solved the problem. My husband and I are very happy with the result!

Superb quality at an affordable price

We bought this special RV toilet seal to replace the original seal which was worn out and could no longer hold water in the bowl. We first contacted a local RV dealer but they wanted $36.99 for a single print. Of course, our next step was to explore the other options that led us to Revain. We decided to order and test. It was very easy to install - after watching a YouTube video - and after a quick spray of silicone it works great. Has been running for over a week now with no problems. Iโ€ฆ

Fits perfectly! IF you don't need it.

Worked on my Dometic. It fit perfectly and did its job. FOR ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO WON'T SAY: Either they don't know the model of their toilet (look at your toilet and google images for "Dometic 310" or 320 toilet) AND/OR your ball valve has slipped and you have to return it to its place. Turn off the water --> Open the ball valve --> Use a long tool with a hook on the end ie crowbar etc (or your hand if your hand is small enough, I don't have one) ---> Lever up the swivel arm --&gtโ€ฆ

WOW how easy repairs are. I researched on the internet

WOW we are talking about simple solutions. I researched the internet, watched videos on YouTube. Even stressed out, it really is that hard to fix a leaking toilet in an RV. I've seen videos where the toilet had to be disassembled or removed to replace the gasket. All you have to do is pull out the old seal and reinstall the new seal. If you really want to make it easier on yourself, hire an assistant who can step on the flush pedal to keep the ball out of the way. Take your time and check thatโ€ฆ

Too short for my Dometic 310

This gasket didn't fit perfectly on my Dometic model 310. I bought this gasket because my RV toilet wasn't holding water, it had a slow leak. I removed the old gasket and replaced it with a new gasket and there was a small gap in it. I lubricated the gasket, cleaned the toilet and orifice thoroughly to make sure there was no excess residue and the gasket just wasn't a perfect fit. When I placed the gasket flat side down it snapped into place but stayed put. I put the plunger back in and itโ€ฆ

Essential RV Toilet Care

You know the story: the rubber seal on the RV toilet leaks and the water in the toilet is gone in 1 hour or 1 day. I've seen YouTube videos showing how to fix such a leak by replacing the gasket. I find this funny because the gasket is probably fine, but it's just caked on crap and needs cleaning. I took this approach by properly cleaning the seal and it lasted for years before breaking. After all, even after thorough cleaning, it does not stand up to any scrutiny. Fortunately, replacing theโ€ฆ
