🔧 Dorman 696-717 Engine Air Intake Hose: Perfect Fit for Toyota Models Review

Bought to replace the intake manifold on a friend's car after the original manifold had hardened and cracked. Fits perfectly, looks good and was easy to assemble.

The air intake hose fitted great, the rubber material was quite flexible but strong. My only complaint was that one of the smaller intake ports still had material left over from the manufacturing process, so it took some time to cut it off with a precision knife, and then grind it. with sanding board.

the product is exactly as described at a really good price. It fits almost perfectly except for one of the side ports which was slightly shorter than the OEM version. No make or break problem, you just have to stretch it a little. Item shipped quickly, great seller, would buy again

Great fit 2001 Toyota Solara. The check engine light no longer lights up. Pretty easy installation. much more flexible than my old, dried and cracked one. When I got mine the hole where the resonator box attaches was very bad (almost torn) and I'm wondering if it will work fine. The quality is not very good and I don't know if it would be better to return it and get another one. You definitely get what you pay for here. All in all not a big deal, I could just turn off the resonator and live with it.

As a mechanic I saw that both hoses were bad. So I ordered this hose, received it today! Then I got a hose to connect to the airbox from O'reillys, Gates 24028. Cut it 3.5" and put it on. It worked great. Toyota wants to make it heavier. good luck. I would give it a try Giving 5 stars but you have to try extra to make it work.

Perfect fit for my 2001 Toyota Camry CE 4 cylinder. No modifications were required. It was an exact fit and the quality looks good too given the quality of the rubber you can see and feel. Definitely recommend this one. Please note that you need 2 metal clips on both ends, which are not included. But my old one is in good condition so I used them exactly the same otherwise you can easily get them at Revain and also at your local store by measuring the width/diameter of the hose at both ends.

This item appears to be cheap and extremely flexible. The original manufactured intake pipe is made of thick rubber and the item I received is not the original Toyota intake hose. I have purchased this type of product from amazon.com before and received an exact Toyota part. But this time I got a cheap copy that said "Made in China". I've installed it and it seems to be working so far, but I'm not happy with the cheap construction and imitation of the original product. I'll post a photo if you…
