Will not fit US Focus

I ordered these pads because Revain and EBC said they would fit the 2008 Ford Focus SE. They do not match the American version of this car. not even close.

Pros
  • OE Equipment
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Works great and has a good bite for its rating

Works great and has a good bite for its rating. It takes about 1000 miles for a full break-in. There is a coating on the surface that smoothes the rotor. So unless your rotors are in very bad shape there is no need to flip them, the pads will do it for you. That's why it takes 1,000 miles to break in and wear out this finish. This is also the reason why the brake system generates a lot of dust on the first 1000 km or so.

Pros
  • Slotted and beveled slots
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Brake dust, brake dust away!

Very disappointed with the amount of brake dust. I thought I was switching up from the stock Mazda brake pads, and boy was I wrong. I contacted EBC directly for a quote on which pads to buy and they offered these. I had to try the green line or something because the brake dust is twice as bad as the original pads. I doubt they will last 25,000+ miles so will definitely buy something else when they wear out.

Pros
  • High Friction Europe Spec Friction
Cons
  • old
