When I get to the last pack of batteries I will be ordering more. I have 1 9V left and ordered 2 pieces in October 2019. I put them aside for the future. That day was today - my smoke alarm beeped. He pulled out a stepladder to remove and replace the battery - mission accomplished. I thought. It also chirps loudly and is very annoying. Did I put it in wrong? Is the smoke detector broken?
