Perfect fit and easy installation. I read that some people didn't like the washer fluid nozzle that came with the unit, so I reused the original nozzle. The 3m seal is very sticky but I was prepared by reading other reviews that it wasn't as hard to work with as it could be.

Used a third brake light on a 2012 Ford Escape, got a red lens with a chrome housing to match my red lens JDM chrome taillights. Very good fit, easy to assemble, has a 3M seal and shines just right. The OEM worked well, just made my Escape look nicer!

The LED light is washed out and washed out by the reflection of the chrome background. That's why I chose the DNA Motoring B075NWPL3D black case with tinted lenses. The LEDs are clear red individual lights and you'll see what your extra $9 went for when you get them. 1 star for performance

The factory third brake light on my '03 Explorer went out and when I went to change the bulbs I found the whole block was shot through. Corrosion everywhere, bulbs burned out, brittle etc. I ordered this LED brake light as a replacement and it works great. Installation was easy. Just note that the glue on the foam pad is VERY sticky (you really only get one chance to get it right!). After installation everything worked perfectly and the light is nice and bright. Good deal for a great price.

I wish I had done it sooner. I still love my 2012 Escape, the last year before Ford made Escapes look like oversized Focis. After the taillight went out, I went through the ritual of converting the taillights and backup lights to LEDs, including the hard lesson of miswiring the load-balancing resistor. This third high mount center stop light exceeded my expectations. It fits my Explorer perfectly and the quality seal ensures no water gets in. While the washer will stick to what it is pressed against, it can be carefully removed to adjust if needed. Try to get it 95% right and do it by caulking/gluing the gasket on the lens assembly first. Using rubbing alcohol I wiped the area of the car that the assembly may have come in contact with. I'm going to replace the rest of the brake/tail lights…

Perfect for my 10 year escape. Just remove the old one and replace it with the new one. However . . . As already mentioned, extreme care must be taken when working with the seal. Apply some lamp grease or dielectric grease to the connector. Skinny! This protects against the ingress of water and facilitates disassembly if necessary.
