So much easier. for gaskets

This made it easy to fit the sump gasket in the 5 minutes allotted with Honda Bond as stated in the 1998 CRV service manual.

Pros
  • Free for training purposes
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Works great: Oil

They are comfortable and work as expected. Facilitates alignment of screw holes and threads in screws. Definitely worth it if you plan on using them more than once like I did.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Good overall but...

broken off in the bolt hole

when I tried to put an oil pan on it to start screwing in some bolts one of them broke in the bolt hole. I pulled the plastic out of the thread but it was a major inconvenience

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list is long.

Look, what's holding my pan?

These small clamps were designed by a person looking for the best way to hang and hold a pallet and its spacer in order to place the pallet on a truck. They are good value and come with free shipping from Premiere. Don't miss out on this work of art!

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Obsolete

Worked best in Gaskets

Oil pan replacement on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. Well aligned holes. Instead of using all four, I used an M6 threaded shank in two of the holes and two of them snapped into place. Good work. Can't find it at any local parts store but can be bought there for half price. Expensive on Amazon.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Not very useful for oil pan gasket kits

They proved useless with the oil pan installed on my Chrysler. It would have been nice to just put the pins in and just push the oil pan up, but my oil pan has to go in a very specific way and the pins actually became a bigger problem as they scratched the shim maker and almost broke it Catastrophe. I'm not happy with them. If you don't have any obstacles in your way then it's probably a good idea, but not for me.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Empty

Useful but expensive for plastic rivets

Very useful but expensive for what it is (reason to deduct a star). I have found that when working with an oil pan it is best to only use 2 snap ups as they are plastic and can be screwed in at a slight angle so you may have to move the pan a bit to get through the screw holes reach. Using all 4 made it harder. However, when the pan is on, it's fairly stable and it's like having an extra hand when installing the screws.

Pros
  • Pleasing
